Allows you to change the new tab page to the New Tab Redirect app page, or a custom URL of your choice!
Choose from chrome's about pages, *NewTab, Extensions, Downloads, History*, a few popular URLs, or provide your own. Your custom tab can also be a local file, allowing you to create your own new tab page. Saving blank text will cause your new tab to be about:blank.
Files can begin with: file:\\, file://, and file:///
Important: This is not meant to replace your homepage, only new tabs. If your browser is set to load the New Tab page as your homepage, there may be odd consequences.
Note: Because this extension perform a "redirect", I have no control over address bar highlighting or focus.

Where usefull extension in Google Chrome but it doesn't work in Vivaldi browser.
Just wanted to redirect the new tab page and it worked great for my pc.
Works wonders for my school laptop 10/10
Love this app, hides all those recent search history or frequently visited pages from prying eyes. Definitely recommended if you are sharing a computer with someone else.
Have been using for years, but since recent update (or chrome update) it no longer pre-selects the text in the address bar, which made it easier and faster to use the omnibar in subsequent searches. Please fix this, thanks!
Works as it is supposed to and offers good options for whether you want the cursor to start in google search or start in address bar.

Great extension, i'm using it for some time. But, there is a but, something changed recently and on opening new tab the highlight is on the address bar, i used to start typing, on opening new tab, the address url that i wanted. Now i cannot do that because it doesn't erase what's after the cursor. Added a focus in my html, but it doesn't seem to work. Please resolve this
Chrome update broke address bar highlighting after new tab is opened. However extension is great.
