For most pages, inverting colors works for me. It does affect images too; and it says it doesn't; but, this is minor for me, I just do a quick flip F-12, and back again. Much better, my eyes don't fade out on me, and it works on most of the pages I need it to. Had a thought about improving this, other than existing issues. When I use 'invert' I mean "injects inversion code". Existing: 1. Images inverting, says it won't. 2. don't know if can be fixed; sometimes pages load so quickly, page doesn't invert. (this issue occurs most often with same site pages.) F12 doesn't work if it doesn't invert; but, can reload, if it's not exclusively locked like a lot of google pages. Suggestion: Might slow this down too much; but, if you would scan color code and determine base color average of a page; you could recognize pages that were already dark. No biggie, I just F12, and everything's fine. Perhaps an option to, per site, marry F12 to say Middle Mouse Button, to invoke F12 for rapid inversion, or not. (I suppose I might do that locally.

The high contrast, despite its name does not work to meet its target. Firstly, if you enable it and select inverted colors (which is what it is built for, otherwise why name it high contrast?) then the pctures get inverted colors as well, which is ridiculous. Of course, this add-on should invert only text but not pictures. In addition, the high contrast is not persistent. It inverts colors of some pages (for example, Google home page) but many other pages remain with white background. Not sure why. This theme could have been useful for people who need back background but this non-persistence makes it unusable. We should see something that if I choose black background, I get black background in ALL pages of ANY HTML. period. Microsoft Edge has so many disadvantages, but this feature is done well in there. In Windows, when I choose a windows system theme with black background and light text (green, yellow, white) I get *everything* in Windows to use this scheme. everything, means menus, any application (e.g. MS-Office) and Edge - all pages, everywhere. Google people here, please improve the accessibility of your products. For me, it is nearly unusable across the board. Even now, writing this review, my background is white (thus, this very page is displayed white despite the fact I use high contrast inverted colors in Chrome right now) which makes it very difficult to write this very review.

The extension is not applicable for all the web pages. Also it has some problem when a link opens new popup or tab.
