Definitely better than the current gmail version. However several of the upper left icons don't work: trash, forward, file. I reinstalled it but to no avail. Any help? Thanks.
So glad to see a former Googler do something with the customer in mind. Really like the interface. Only complaint is the search window doesn't go away once the emails are filtered. If I want to use the > or < to advance to the next result the search box remains and covers up the arrows.
Though I think the extension has potential and it does help with a lot of GMail issues, I just don't like the final result with my inbox. There's an issue with Multiple inboxes which I already reported, but deactivated them to try out this extension. There wasn't much of a difference, Inbox is cluttered in the center of the page. Don't know if this is the actual result everybody is seeing o if I'm having some specific issue. (Given Google's rating system, if I dislike this I should put 2 stars, but I think that would be nonsense as there is obvious work here to improve GMail's UI)
Love this, I love the look already. I would really like to see google apps added back. I also need to learn the shortcuts, because the archive/delete/etc bar moving has been a bit tough to get used to :)
Sure this thing works for other. For my chrome, the search monocle is now hovering over the setting icon in the upper right. Now, even after uninstalling the Simplify Gmail App, the search monocle is stuck over the settings cog.
Hi Michael, This extension is great and it really improves the UI. Thank you. Would it be possible to add a date divider. Something similar to what Inbox had to group mails by date (Ex. Today, Yesterday, March ...) ?
