I want very much to give this review a 5 star rating, but I cannot. Across the top of this, it indicates that this is a Free Job Search and Contact Tracker. That may be true, but I have found that the best features of the app are available only if you pay for them. Dont get me wrong. I think that the application is worth the fee. But it is a little deceptive the way it is shown above. Also, Although this tool has been extremely helpful in customizing my resumes for the different opportunities to which I have applied, I have not been receiving nearly the flood of responses from my applications that others have indicated are possible with this tool. Keep in mind that the tool is extremely helpful, but it is the information that you put into it that is responsible for the success or failure of the effort.
Teal has been extremely useful for me for several reasons: -it taught me how to read a job description by helping me focus away from the narrative to the key terms -it taught me how to valorize my experience by empowering me to take ownership of the work I have been doing -it taught me how to select the work i have done that speaks the most to the job I am seeking out Overall, Teal teaches one to think like a recruiter, and I am very grateful for this help.

Way easier than creating a spreadsheet. Everything is laid out nicely and the fact it imports everything directly from LinkedIn is a huge time saver. Absolutely love this extension.
Comprehensive tool that took me from getting no responses to getting several within days of applying with my first Teal resume and cover letter. You have to remember that it is a garbage in, garbage out scenario and I have found that many job postings are poorly written. Because of this, you have to do some follow up on the corporate website. The analysis and job matching tools are great. I've created a dozen or so customized resumes in a fraction of the time it would take me to write them from scratch. I was looking at Jobscan too and I thought it was a coin flip on which one to choose. Glad I chose Teal.
Really great product. Helped me so much. It needs to be improve about AI reviews though. But it's a real life saver.
