At times my mobile phone doesn't work, but I still need to contact friends and family, so I added this site. I'm still new and learning it, but I think I will recommend it to all my people.
Great idea - poor execution. This plugin is so buggy. 50% of the time I try to make an outbound call from the computer (Google Talk) it says "Calling you..." and just sits there. To add to the confusion - Google Hangouts now wants to integrate with and/or take over google voice without any clear way to make an outbound voice call. I am not skeptical of using any google technology for fear of lack of support and/or deliberate abandonment of it. I'm beginning to think Google's strategy for their products is to create a half-baked solution and then move on to something "cooler".
no done well at all. it was better when the dialer was part of gmail.. this sucks

wtf??? Google developed a Google chrome app that doesn't even work! I can't event call my self! waste of 10$ for calls! because I can't even call from the website. this service sucks.
No issues for over a year & was 5 star rating. Couldn't make a call yesterday & figured I'd try again today. I've given up after 2 hrs.Come on Google,put your big boy panties on & fix your program! EDITED: Now on day 4 & still doesn't work, been un-installing plugins/programs,the SOS.I've tried ever direction suggested by Google.They act like they've been butt hurt by ignoring all the complaints. In my humble opinion, Google has caused this issue/issues on purpose so that they can start charging folks higher fees for out of country calls & start charging a fee to make any calls.
This feature does not work at all for me, I would rate it very poor. The call feature does not show up in my menu, don't like this feature at all.
