I haven't found anything wrong with this app. Other than once in a while I don't get my notifications on time but I think that has more to do with my service and less to do with the app.
This is an OK app that has little to no usefulness. Using MAC OSX 10.9.2 Chrome Extension does nothing when dialing a call from the widget. The widget works with cellular dialing but, if I wanted to dial a number on my mobile phone, I would just pick it up and use it. For such a big company, this is a very little tool that is not working as intended. Where are the settings for device options? Where is the dial pad? Where are the typical SoftPhone features?
I wouldn't mind being able to disable the call tab, as I don't use it.
It's buggy but I love texting from my computer. I wish Google would improve (or just fix) it.
This is an awesome extension! I'd like to know though when the "make call" feature will be fixed? I would have given this extension 5 stars, but i want to make calls with it. S.O.S.
The calling option does not work. Uninstall!
I can't get to my contacts easily at all. Terrible. I expect more from Google.
I just reinstalled this extension (in Chrome on my Windows 7). When I clicked to launch it, it advised that it "only works with Google Voice accounts that use a Google Voice number or use voicemail." This may be a recent change and may be responsible for reviewers here saying it's no longer working the way it used to. I've heard that Google will merge Hangouts and Voice in May. Perhaps this new requirement is part of that upcoming products merge. I'll rate this 4 star now unless I find it's not working well after I sign up for and test my Google Voice number.
