This is a pretty good extension ... I mostly use if for previewing and then converting to Google Sheets or Docs, so I don't use it much for staying in Microsoft formats (after all, Google documents can be converted to Microsoft formats anyway). Big problem is that it doesn't work in Chromium Beta at the moment, perhaps not in Chrome beta either.

This is not a real Office replacement. It's great to open and preview quick spreadsheets or documents, but is not a real tool. Gosh, nothing is good in Chromebooks. Offline we have no choice, Android apps are just not ready for Chromebooks and Sheets is just lacking of simple features like OPEN, EDIT AND SAVE OFFLINE XLS DOCUMENTS.
Not compatible with MS Office files sometimes... But it is still great.

Just got a Asus Chromebook Flip. Tried this out for working with Excel files. Whenever I write in a cell, it doesn't overwrite what's already there, just picks up typing after the current cell contents. Also a formula like INDEX(MATCH) doesn't seem to work? As well, I don't seem to be able to remove it. Uninstalled extension, but it's still the default method that an xls file will open with the from the Chromebook "File" application. Any help?

officeを買わなくてもある程度使える(wordなど一部ずれたりする)ので最高です！
