This extension will make ChatGPT your default search engine in Chrome. Once ChatGPT has been set as your default search engine, you can search directly via your browser URL bar.
ChatGPT You can get fast, timely answers with links to relevant web sources, which you would have previously needed to go to a search engine for. This blends the benefits of a natural language interface with the value of up-to-date sports scores, news, stock quotes, and more. Chats also now include links to sources, such as news articles and blog posts, giving you a way to learn more.
In order to redirect a query to Google search, type "!g [your query]" (e.g. !g foobar) directly in your browser URL bar.

What is wrong with you people? You are providing a service that doesn't work, or just too slow, Very annoying. Free version and than 20 dollars a month. Do you understand what 20 dollars is for most people? 2 Dollars a month will make you rich, because of amount of people who'd join.

!ChatGPT-App für Google Chrome, deaktiviert Google Lens! Ich schätze sehr ChatGPT, aber ich benutze oft Google Lens um in Bildern Text auszulesen. ChatGPT schlägt mir vor, die ChatGPT-App zu deaktivieren. Dazu muss man sich erst zu der Erweiterungsseite durch hangeln und dann die Erweiterung selbst suchen. Der ChatGPT öffnet bei jeder Suchanfrage ein Chat, es gibt keine Möglichkeit einen voreingestellten Chat zu benutzen. Analog gäbe es auch die Möglichkeit das Ergebnis in einem Eigenen Fenster anzuzeigen, mit der Option das Ergebnis weiter in ChatGPT in einem neuen Chat zu öffnen und beim verlassen dieser Seite diesen Teil des Chets zu löschen. Ich hoffe die Ersteller dieser App lesen hier mit, denn es gibt keine E-Mail-Adresse an die man sich wenden kann. Grüße

Not working. Didn't get chatgpt omnibox after installing extension.
Would be great if there was a setting where I can select which model will answer the web search. Right now it seems to be always GPT-4o-mini but I would like o3-mini or full GPT-4o preselected.
