As someone mentioned, the opened tab count on the extension icon was very handy, but now it's gone. Also, it was very convenient to close tabs from -current or saved sessions list- with just in one click, but not you have to checkmark them and then close. Previous UI seemed more useful. UPDATE. Thanks for v 4.0.2 , it has improved my preferred functionality now. The tab counter can be enabled in the settings. As well as one-click tab close works as before, thanks. One more little nit-bit i'd like to see back is the complete format of the date on saved collections, not just 'approx 2 months ago', but the exact date like it used to show.

Why the need to remove the Backup function (exporting in csv / html), and numbering of windows opened? I have used this for years and this is a not so good update.. pls bring back old version and consider most of the recent reviews here please.

FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, why in god's name would you COMPLETELY remove the BACKUP FUNCTIONALITY? This new version of yours, is completely missing multiple core features that were available prior to this horrible update. Core features, that made Session Buddy so impeccable, so reliable. What's the point of stripping fundamental components of your own application? Have you guys lost your mind? You turned one of the most distinguished and reliable Extension, into an enormous pile of S**t!!!

I've been using session buddy for several generations of computers now. I had no issues with the previous version of session buddy besides wanting dark mode which I had already figured out how to do and recovering deletions not being that straight forward but I had also figured that out. With the new version I have to take extra steps to accomplish the same as before, I have yet to figure out how to recover deletions, and I share many of the complaints the other reviewers have.

Not bad update. Some important functions like the way the search filter works were changed, but overall I like the improvements that have been made and understand that the developers are doing their best given the time and funding they have. Keep up the good work!

New update is garbage. Search is broken. can't filter each session wise. number of tabs feature on each tile is not there previous sessions list is now "history" which is more difficult backup option is gone (so many times this extension used to reset in which case backup came in handy) Plus it removed all the names and everything which I stored for years. Looks like someone paid them to downgrade so the other company's extension shines. I suggest everyone to download version 3.6.9 crx and use it instead. Then they won't be able to force this bogus update.
