High Contrast lets you browse the web with your choice of several high-contrast color filters designed to make it easier to read text.
When you install this extension, all pages are "inverted", so black becomes white and white becomes black. Press the "browser action" icon in the toolbar to toggle it on and off, or customize your settings on a per-site basis. Use a convenient keyboard shortcut to quickly change your settings while your browse.
Other extensions try to change the default colors, but this ends up breaking many popular websites. Only this extension applies filters to your page that invert almost everything - the only exception is photos, which are left alone.
Also note that the Chrome web store and other built-in pages like the New Tab page and Settings pages are unaffected - extensions like this one are not allowed to modify them, by design.

While watching video on youtube, the next video will be high contrast which make video little dark... And i should disable and enable it ...
It was OK but probably as a result of updates to Windows 10 it has become unreliable.

I have the same problem others have mentioned. The extension works VERY well for me, but it "switches" it from on to off and back again, apparently randomly. When it's on, it's great, but when it's off, the blasted "oh so trendy" light gray/light blue etc text on a white background makes the page essentially invisible. Refreshing the page sets it on again, but the true solution is for Google to use and enforce a VISIBLE-TO-ALL font color on light backgrounds. NOT LIGHT GRAY, at least use DARK gray at least on their pages.
this is very useful tool for me, but I suggest adding an additional feature - the ability to skip images, because I would like to see an image in usual color
No funciona para todos los sitios. Por ejemplo en hotmail funciona al principio y luego se pone normal como siempre
On the plus side, it does make grey fonts easier to read, on most, but not all pages. For example this page, describing the extension, and doing a review, does not react to the extension. And it does not effect just the font, but the entire page, making images often just blotches of black.
I am color blind, that is, I don't see colors the way a normal person might expect to see them, ie: GRAYS AND GREENS MIX, BLUES ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO CLASSIFY and much more. For me this is terrific, it's new, but so far I love it.Probably more to come

Tohle né, ivertuje komplet veškeré barvy, textu, obrázků všeho a navíc se toho teď nemůžu zbavit :D
