Privacy Badger sends the Global Privacy Control signal (https://globalprivacycontrol.org/) to opt you out of data sharing and selling, and the Do Not Track signal (https://www.eff.org/issues/do-not-track) to tell companies not to track you. If trackers ignore these signals, Privacy Badger will learn to block them.
Besides automatic tracker blocking, Privacy Badger replaces potentially useful trackers (video players, comments widgets, etc.) with click-to-activate placeholders, and removes outgoing link click tracking on Facebook and Google, with more privacy protections on the way.

First time installed, and not working... Any clue how to fix it? Privacy Badger 2016.12.8 This extension may have been corrupted.
Tem tudo para ser uma extensão 5 estrelas, tão logo resolva o problema envolvendo as solicitações constantes de reparo. It has everything to be a 5-star extension, as soon as it solves the problem involving constant repair requests.
I'm concerned the new version 2016.12.07.2 requires more permissions with no option to disable those permissions.
Good for peace of mind. The only problem is that when a web site seems broken, you have to remember to disable Privacy Badger for that site to see if it fixes the problem, as the way the tool works does break some sites that are designed in an unusual way. I just wish it had a *temporary* shut-off switch ("Reload without Privacy Badger"?) to help me establish if PB is the problem. It has a side-effect of blocking some ads, which also causes some news sites to demand you disable it.

I just downloaded this, so I can't say it's great YET but I will say the onboarding upon download is superb! thank you EFF!!! great work!
Great app, very effective and easy to use.
This is a great extension, but there is one thing missing in my opinion. And that is an option to export and import the Filter settings and the white listed domains. But then again I have no idea how that would need to be developed, so I hope the development team will someday add those options.
I love the extension. A pretty good adblocker.
