iCloud Passwords lets you securely fill passwords from iCloud Keychain when signing in to websites using Chrome. Any new passwords you create in Chrome are saved to your iCloud Keychain so that they are also available across your Apple devices. The extension can also generate verification codes, which you can set up by right-clicking on a QR code.

The iCloud Passwords extension is compatible with macOS Sonoma or later, and Windows versions supported by the iCloud for Windows app. To enable the extension on a PC, download the iCloud for Windows app from the Microsoft Store and enable iCloud Passwords.

There is something severely wrong with this extension. It disables the option to autosave new passwords, removing a highly convenient and useful feature of Chrome. Why?

Keeps asking for a 2FA code to activate the extension every day.

Can't fully switch to Apple's new Passwords app because I can't use this extension with a Linux OS. Will stick with BitWarden.

Horrible compared to normal Apple excellent integration. Honestly, just a really bad implementation! Feels like they hired this out to an amateur developer. What about name/addresses/normal autofill? Very clumsy and features are barely adequate. Desperate attempt without thought.

Poor UX. Blocks the regular autofill from Chrome and difficult to navigate.

It works perfectly fine for me, but the extension closes every single time that I close the browser and after that I have to enter the 2FA again. I think that my fingerprint is enough security to use my passwords.

Does not work with Arc Browser and is spotty at best with others. Horrible implementation. Probably designed to keep you locked into Safari because this is incredibly inconvenient.
