iCloud Passwords lets you securely fill passwords from iCloud Keychain when signing in to websites using Chrome. Any new passwords you create in Chrome are saved to your iCloud Keychain so that they are also available across your Apple devices. The extension can also generate verification codes, which you can set up by right-clicking on a QR code.

The iCloud Passwords extension is compatible with macOS Sonoma or later, and Windows versions supported by the iCloud for Windows app. To enable the extension on a PC, download the iCloud for Windows app from the Microsoft Store and enable iCloud Passwords.

Works well, easy to use when using fingerprint/apple watch to unlock username/pwd. Slightly less "apple-ish"/polished than other apple products, but hopefully an update will fix that.

Doesn't search for passwords using item name, but only email, username inside inline autofill. Extension pop-up doesn't offer search at all, only shows list of items for current domain.

Autofill verification code is very glitchy. Not filling in all the digits. Also, not as fluent as the safari implementation. In safari, you can simply scan with TouchID without actively having to press "enter" when hovering a suggested password.

Worked fine till it worked. Since last update it seems that there is no password saved when using Brave extension.

For the last few months, it won't let me access passwords, as when I log in to Apple, nothing happens...

Working great on my Mac on DEC 2024. Quick and without any weird stuff. Feels safe as it is developed by Apple. Will report back if things go south....

Pretty bad and not very Apple. It doesn't use touch ID to unlock and there is no mini extension to view passwords in browser - takes me to the main passwords app / browser.
