PDF.js is a Portable Document Format (PDF) viewer that is built with HTML5.
PDF.js is community-driven and supported by Mozilla. Our goal is to create a general-purpose, web standards-based platform for parsing and rendering PDFs.
This extension offers PDF.js as the default PDF viewer in Chrome. This is the official Chrome extension of the PDF.js project. Be careful of unrelated copycats.
If you want to use this viewer to view local files, visit chrome://extensions/?id=oemmndcbldboiebfnladdacbdfmadadm and put a check before "Allow access to file URLs".

This extension is way faster to render pdf docs cluttered with images than the Chrome native viewer.
Melhor extensão que encontrei para PDF. Abre o arquivo rapidamente. Nao tem publicidade. Melhor que o viewer padrão de PDF, habilitei acesso para URL de arquivos locais, bem melhor agora o Chrome para ver PDFs. So tive problema com arquivo muito grande >700Mb, mas as outras extensoes tambem nao funcionam (use o PDF reader app Desktop nestes casos).
Sometimes defaults to wrong zoom in chrome but still better than everything else out there. Please add some simple annotation tools and merge function and be my hero!

PDF.js v1.0.1143 (build: 8614c17) Message: stream must have data Will also stop displaying PDFs completely, only after removing and then adding back do the PDFs show again.
