📢 February 2026: Sorry, Chrome 145 has a bug that causes problems with tab group operations (collapse and modify title). This bug will be fixed in Chrome 146. This is a Chrome bug, not an extension bug. All browser extensions with similar functionality are affected.
In addition to general tab management functions, this extension specifically enhances the browser built-in "Tab Groups" feature.
Features:
● Automatically create group for tabs through custom matching rules.
● Save and restore current tabs or groups (snapshots).
● Opened tabs/groups management: activate, close, expand/collapse, move to other window, modify group name and color, new tab in group.

can't get the shortcuts to work, seems like it could be very useful. Wish I could get the shortcuts to work so I could open and close the Saved groups easier. (Got the shortcuts working, increased rating to 4 stars)
Hi, this extension looks great for enhancing Named Tab Groups in and across multiple Chrome Windows. If it could also save an entire Chrome Window's content of multiple Tabs and multiple Tab Groups with one-click, e.g. as a Saved Window using the user pre-configured Window Name, and enable Export/Import of all Saved Windows in one exported file, then you'd have a killer extension! This would resolve issues I've encountered with other extensions that save a Chrome Window's tab content but not the Tab Groups (names and tab content within).

Great extension to group tabs. I would love to see the following functionality: 1. Shortcut Enable/Disable the automatic grouping or configurable delay before a tab get grouped. Use case: Generally from doc, I open multiple different links which are referred into the doc but without leaving the doc open, and then iterate through those after reading the doc (just start switching tab in right side). But with automatic grouping, the links I open automatically get replaced into corresponding group, and I no longer can iterate all the tabs I opened with simple tab switch.

It was amazing but recently "new tab in a current group" short cut is not working.
Amazing! Are you going to support sync between devices (at least Mac-Win-Linux)? Maybe saving json file to GDrive for automatic retrival?
Was wishing chrome had this functionality. This extension was exactly what I was looking for. Great for bouncing between sandboxes.
