📢 February 2026: Sorry, Chrome 145 has a bug that causes problems with tab group operations (collapse and modify title). This bug will be fixed in Chrome 146. This is a Chrome bug, not an extension bug. All browser extensions with similar functionality are affected.
In addition to general tab management functions, this extension specifically enhances the browser built-in "Tab Groups" feature.
Features:
● Automatically create group for tabs through custom matching rules.
● Save and restore current tabs or groups (snapshots).
● Opened tabs/groups management: activate, close, expand/collapse, move to other window, modify group name and color, new tab in group.

Pretty pointless being limited to a single (current) window only. The Chrome's Tab groups suffered this from the very beginning — the tool that's aimed to reduce tab clutter lacks of effective management for itself; you had bunch of tabs, now you have bunch of tabs groups — what a "relief" considering that you even can't have all of them listed in a single place.
Love this been using it for year now, can't live with out it! Thanks you
Please add an option to disregard PWAs when using auto group.. I use a ton of PWAs so whenever I click links or a page auto forwards it will close the PWA and move the tab into a group in Edge.
Very useful app. One suggestion: add an option to refresh the entire group.

My main complaint is that I wish there were a setting to ignore progressive web apps (PWAs)—i.e. when you save a "shortcut" to a site in Chrome so it opens in a separate window. I have different use cases for targeted and exploratory testing. I tried to circumvent it by adding a custom (fake) query parameter to the URL of my Chrome PWA ('?pwa=1'), but clicking on any link causes another regex rule I have to catch it.
Very good Extension, but the problem i have is when too many tab groups the rest of the tab groups disappears and i cant see them
So far so AWESOME! Does precisely what I needed; allow me to save tab groups with collected links for a topic that I may want to restore in the future without crowding my day-to-day Chrome tabs. Very clean interface and so far very performant. I have not played with the rules feature yet but something makes me think this too will come in handy. Well done; looking forward to more use and testing.
