It’s the add-on for Google Chrome, it turns browser into what it has never been in it’s life: a browser that is no longer resource killer (and if you have ever used Google’s browser you know very well what I’m talking about, with the results on Windows or macOS). The Marvellous Suspender has everything you need to allow you to control the behavior of active / inactive tabs and thus free up RAM when possible, in a transparent way, you do the first configuration and then you forget it exists, what you can do is only that couple of clicks that will serve to manually suspend a tab that you have awakened by mistake by selecting it.
Fork of the original The Great Suspender, but without those modifications that go to invade user privacy. You can find the official repository at github.com/gioxx/MarvellousSuspender, feel free to participate if you have the skills to do that.

Ya, stopped working after recent chrome update.
Was nice but not effective since the last chrome update :/
The extension stopped working properly. now it's just a white page that can't be refreshed!
I was loving this extension and then all of a sudden it started to suck. It suspends now, yes, but getting it to un-suspend has become problematic. I'm looking for another solution as this one seems to be really buggy now.
Great extension I use all the time. It would be really cool to see an "unsuspend all tabs in this window" option tho, as I use multiple tabs to manage my browsing, and don't want to unsuspend ALL tabs at once.
Yes, the extension does what it's intended to do, but there are some things I didn't like. First of all, when a tab is suspended, the URL is replaced with something referring to the extension. So if you remove this extension while you have tabs suspended, forget about them, they're gone. Second, you can't just hit CTRL+R to reload suspended tabs. You either have to press that shortcut twice, or remember to use this extension's shortcut which is CTRL+SHIFT+S, which you'll never remember because it's similar to saving. Third and last, since tabs will be suspended, you'll end up having MORE tabs open, because you'll never need to close them, becoming an even worse mess.
Great, it saves memories and more. This one is particularly great, it can send tab to another windows from the windows list when you right click the tab and it can send it without break the current hibernation if you use the right click instead ^^. If you want more for your browsing experience without or without keyboard with the mouse, try chrome tab mouse in Github, just send 1cent to receive more documentation not in the repository.
使用後我尚未儲存資料的分頁，因凍結分頁而重跑網站進而遺失資料，當下意識到似乎是幫助不到我的擴充功能，我立刻直接刪除，但沒想到其他還正在凍結的分頁全數消失。 說實話挺不爽的，我也找不回來被你們關閉的分頁，嗯。
