Free and on top of things. I recommend this particular extension for all who are on the Chrome browser and on their Facebook page. Certainly, we all know some of the ills that Facebook is doing, and thus this FBpurity extension is well worth investigating and installing. Did I mention that it is free? Yep.

I have been using this extension for so long I can not remember. I have it installed in Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and Opera and it does the job in every one.
This has been instrumental in blocking posts by friends/family that have devolved into the mire of political zealotry. I love seeing them and still being able to look them in the eyes!
I can't imagine using FB without FBP. It makes for a much cleaner, less annoying FB experience.

The best app for blocking all the unwanted ads and other junk on Facebook.
Had this on another machine for years and it worked fine. Moved to my newer machine and nothing works. Won't stay on Most Recent. Won't show Game posts from my friends. Support answered, but could not find any of the things they said to click. Took it off because I really needed those game posts. Put it back because of the number of FB ads that popped up. Sigh. I want it back like it was on the old machine, but can't seem to get it to act the same.
