It will help you optimize your video viewing by allowing you to make quick playback speed adjustments, as well as rewind the video to hear the last few second one more time. We don't read at a constant speed, and we talk much slower than we read - there is no reason why we have to listen at a constant speed and at a (very) slow rate.
Once the extension is installed simply navigate to any page that offers HTML5 video, and you'll see a speed indicator in top left corner of the video player. Hover over the indicator to reveal the controls to accelerate, slowdown, or rewind the video (10 seconds + lowers playback speed). Or, even better, use your keyboard:
- S - decrease playback speed.
- D - increase playback speed.
- R - reset playback speed.

works well, but dont have status bar, so you dont know how much extra you increase or decrease, i want to switch between 4x ~2x but dont have interface bar very difficult...
Works perfect
This is the best extension for video speed and jumping around in the timeline, and I have tried a ton of these. They're all broken in some way or the other, or only work on specific sites (pre-defined in the app) or specified sites (user-defined). One request would make this amazing - multiple bookmarks? Allowing you to jump between custom timestamps? Even better if they could be saved across sessions as persistent. And maybe the user could even create custom URLs for these bookmarks (if the video player doesn't make this feature obvious through the UI). I have used in Chrome and Firefox for a long time now. I've never seen the UI pop up, though I havenn't really dug into it. The "Key site bindings" feature was confusing for a while - I just don't know what it means - and it probably still is confusing but I think I've got it the way I want. Awesome, awesome stuff. Thank you!
Shows up on Brave Browser but not on Chrome, key bindings work on both just the interface is not shown on chrome, which is weird.
Extremely helpful, keyboard shortcuts are worth learning and works on almost every video I've enoucountered (Youtube, Netflix, miscellaneous websites with videos). Great, clear UI.

can you make the override key works as intended? when i use up arrow to pause, tiktok video still go to previous video instead of actually pausing. otherwise, great extension.
