It will help you optimize your video viewing by allowing you to make quick playback speed adjustments, as well as rewind the video to hear the last few second one more time. We don't read at a constant speed, and we talk much slower than we read - there is no reason why we have to listen at a constant speed and at a (very) slow rate.
Once the extension is installed simply navigate to any page that offers HTML5 video, and you'll see a speed indicator in top left corner of the video player. Hover over the indicator to reveal the controls to accelerate, slowdown, or rewind the video (10 seconds + lowers playback speed). Or, even better, use your keyboard:
- S - decrease playback speed.
- D - increase playback speed.
- R - reset playback speed.

Doesn't work on Netflix.
It's great except when I'm on a video trying to click the speed up button to get to 2.0 or 3.0 it is SO frustrating trying to do so because the controls will 'minimize' making me hover over again. This causes my clicks to speed up actually get applied to the video, pausing it or taking it to full screen, which is super annoying. Please make it so the controls don't disappear as I'm currently trying to use them. Thanks

One of the best apps man. It's awesome!
This is horrible! I changed the hotkeys one to many times, trying to find the best fit for tiny hands, and now some of them are default some aren't. On top of there being no other alternative even after uninstalling it if I hit the skip 10 keys, Netflix will STILL glitch! so it's isn't off my device and now I have to make sure not to hit the wrong button for an app that doesn't work that I don't want installed.
It isn't working anymore!!! please help me!
You made my year mate!!!! The extension works great but if you go back or forward with arrows the speed resets to 1.00.... Please fix this and this would be the best one OUT THERE!! Thanks alot!
