SponsorBlock lets you skip over sponsors, intros, outros, subscription reminders, and other annoying parts of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that lets anyone submit the start and end times of sponsored segments and other segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.
You can also skip over non music sections of music videos.
This is open source and the entire database is public.

This is awesome. at first it wasn't working but restarted youtube and it started working, so im happy now i don't have to be bothered with people mentioning sponsor's all i can say is thanks. This extension is great, never thought you could skip those sponsor stuff people always mentions just for money
I disabled the buttons but it would be nice to use them. At the very least add a secondary optional place for the buttons, perhaps above, in between the search box and the player... As is, the current position adds too much clutter to the player ui and interferes with normal operation.

Almost every youtube video has a sponsor now... This extension greatly improves the youtube viewing experience

Great extension, though recently has been the source of my youtube videos 'lagging' when clicking play or switching tabs. It was driving me nuts until I disabled it and my videos worked fine and were nice and responsive. Great extension, but not sure what's happening with this. It seems to be a very sporadic thing.
It works really well, and I was genuinely surprised by how seamless it is. I had forgot I installed it for a while, because it was skipping sponsorships without me even noticing.
sometimes i'm unable to submit a segment, but eventually someone else will do it and it works great. so happy i discovered this extension i've been using it for ages :)
Recently, I began to be unable to submit new submissions to ajay.sb - and a couple days ago, the extension stopped skipping. I'm not sure if it's something on my end, or might be related to some recent changes announced by YouTube but figured I'd leave a message. Other than that, this is the best extension for Chrome you can get. Awesome support from Ajay. He rocks.
