SponsorBlock lets you skip over sponsors, intros, outros, subscription reminders, and other annoying parts of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that lets anyone submit the start and end times of sponsored segments and other segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.

You can also skip over non music sections of music videos.

This is open source and the entire database is public.

Fantastic, but likes to crash edge. There was an issue with this a few months back and I had to disable this extension- enabled it after the dev said it was fixed, and it worked great for awhile. Broken again tho- please fix!

Отличная вещь. Не блокирует креативную рекламу от самих авторов, но зато убирает всю остальную бесполезную для пользователей рекламную похабщину. Такое бы ПО да еще и для Дзена. Если у кого-то расширение перестало работать: попробуйте его удалить и заново установить.

YouTube videos contain embedded sponsor reads, self-promotion, intros, outros, and subscription reminders that waste viewers' time. SponsorBlock crowdsources segment timestamps so all users automatically skip these interruptions.

Install extension → it auto-generates an anonymous userID → extension automatically fetches known segments for any YouTube video from sponsor.ajay.app server → skips segments in real-time during playback. Users can optionally submit new segments by marking start/end times, and vote on existing segments.

Source JS files are minified/bundled, making exact line-by-line analysis harder, but key functions (generateUserID, onInstall handler) are clearly identifiable.
