"big•ot: A person who is bigoted" Thanks, that's, er, helpful. This is a common problem with Google Dictionary (by Google) - self-referential definitions, or the incorrect definition for context. It's not nearly as good as the definitions Google will display at the top of search results. The pop-up quote-box format when double-clicking a word is an excellent format for displaying info about a term, but more care needs to be taken to fill the box with helpful information.

Do not install this. This is not from Google. If you look at the apps made by Google, you will notice that there is a checkmark icon next to the author. This does not have the checkmark and is not from Google. It does however see all of a user's browsing...
Double Click popup is now Working again on Dev Builds, Thank You! But, the pronunciation does not play any audio. I have chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra and chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-nonfree installed. Tested and the problem exists on Ubuntu 10.04 Chromium Version 20.0.1105.0 custom (132415) and Version 21.0.1151.0 custom (138997)
there are thousands of dictionaries on the chrome web store, but none of them works as seamless as this one. simple and effective. never had any technical problem with it. thanks guys.
Would be perfect if there was a keyboard shortcut to pull it up as well.
