You sit down at the computer, and you swear you'll be productive. Next thing you know, it's twelve hours later. You've checked your email, updated your Facebook status, blown through 200 pages of Reddit, read every article in your Twitter feed, looked up your favorite band on Wikipedia, vanity googled yourself, cyber-stalked your ex, browsed through all your high-school crushes' Instagram feeds, and lost a week's pay playing online poker.
What you haven't done is WORK.

The app works well. I have updated my review to reflect that. There seems to be a bug though where flows.microsoft.com is being blocked even though I've only setup reddit on the block list.
Simple, Useful, Funny. Thanks for that. I love it!
This is the best extension I've found if you want to change a habit completely and not just increase short term productivity. No other extension that I have found has anything as effective as "the nuclear option". I set it for four weeks at a time (672 hours) and because there is no password override you are locked in. This is a great way to decrease you're reliance on social media or online entertainment generally.
A useful extension but... I could procrastinate hearing songs on youtube and using other tabs. Please make an option where the timer keeps running when the audio of selected websites are playing.
Neat extension, though I think there could be some improvements in functionality. I'm thinking setting predetermined times for the nuclear setting to activate and deactivate for different blocks of time each day instead of the way it currently functions. It would also be nice to have the extension deduct free time from ALL websites excluding those on the allowed list, because there are many sites I can procrastinate on that I wouldn't know of beforehand to add to the blocked list. Kind of like the one function of nuclear, except you still have allowed time to browse other sites each day. Other than that, I like the funky messages you get when you change certain settings or try to cheat, and I find the current functionality useful enough.
I really like this app, and fine it useful, but wish it had a bit more flexibility.. then i could use it properly.. For instance, there is only one block of active hours in a day... I could really use 3 smaller blocks. not one whole day block. That way if i want to stuff about chatting to friends online for my lunch break I can! Or keep the one set of active hours but enable some kind of "break" setting you can activate manually which disables blocking, but actually requires you to stare that you're going on a break, and not meant to be working, and commit to the length of that break in advance. In my perfect world, because my work varies a lot from day to day, at the start of the day I would have it pop up with a "set your active hours for today" where I commit on a day by day basis to the times I want things blocked for...
It is awesome. Now I'm trying to find a way to block google chrome task manager (nofap hero here) if somebody knows about an app or how to block google task manager please advise me.
This addon is a life saver for me, I'm some one who works from home full time and this has contributed most for my productivity. Thanks and keep up the good work.
The extension fulfills its purpose, however, I'd like to have more granular control over the time settings. For example, I'd like to limit my time on blocked sites during workdays and on the weekend I want to block them completely. This is not possible right now because the timer is the same for all Active Days.
All i needed to save me from my self and other wasting my time ! :) Thank you very much!
