It works awesome for me I just love this app. I talk on my colmputer and text from this app all the time from it. If you install it right you will have no problems.
muy bien
this helps me to keep up with my life
Ugh, this extension hasn't worked in ages. It also pops up when any series of numbers is highlighted on a web page, and not necessarily a phone number. That's pretty dumb, if you ask me.
Nothing better for texting and listening to voice mails while at my machine. Project Fi is on the way and I don't think Hangouts is as friendly.
I love GV however not supporting MMS is terrible. I would use my GV number for everything if it wasn't for thi fact. It has been a very long time to get GV to be able to send and receive MMS but NOPE. Why the heck not already? And why not just make it work with Hangouts? That would be much better as well. I like that all my SMS get saved online for later research purposes. But I have to use hangouts to send and receive MMS. This stinks because my phone always asks if I want to change my default messenge program which clearly I don't but I have to use two seperate things to to messages. I live google and I hate that I hate this part. PLEASE FIX DARN IT.
Having this has made my life easier. I use the "Voice" application to send SMS messages to multiple recipients at one time, but the "Hangouts" application makes this all but impossible. This is a crazy-fast way of getting updates out to clients without too much headache. It's VERY simple in it's make up, but does EXACTLY what I need it to.
The extension activates the computer speaker even if the bell is turned off. It does NOT play a sound if the bell is turned off, but it energizes the speaker. I discovered this because I have a bluetooth headset and every time the extension spins and checks for new server data, I hear a slight background static noise in my headset and then it gets silent again. It really shouldn't force you to set the desired GV account in the settings. This should be selectable at use-time.
Super useful extension. There are some minor things that could be improved, but in general, it's a great tool.
