As a Japanese dictionary, rikaikun helps you look up the only the words you don't know without losing your place. It's also useful for Japanese speakers wanting to know how to say Japanese phrases in English.

This plugin is a godsend. It has been extremely useful to me. Does it have some downsides? Sure. But it's overwhelmingly positive. I have Henshall's Kanji book and it references what number the Kanji is so I can look up alternate definitions/pronunciations, etymology, radicals, history - whatever is available. Plus it allows you to switch dictionaries. I do wish that you could customize the keys (e.g. "N" allowing me to switch dictionaries as enter isn't always my best option for what I'm doing). But honestly, it's been a huge help and I'm still pretty excited about it.
Holy moly, it actually works! I love it!! Despite that it's working, I think being able to "completely understand" what I'm reading in Japanese is still too advance for me. So, I'll need to study some more. :D
Expediates the Japanese learning process by 1000. Can't believe I didn't know about this sooner>.<

This is really convenient and useful tool indeed!! However, comparing to the Firefox version, this one take quite long time to start this extension. It would be greatly appreciate if you could improve that point. Anyhow, convenient tool! I use it a lot!

Takes forever to start up. It's way slower than rikaichan on Firefox.
