As a Japanese dictionary, rikaikun helps you look up the only the words you don't know without losing your place. It's also useful for Japanese speakers wanting to know how to say Japanese phrases in English.

* Enable text to speech in the options to hear Japanese words you look up spoken out load.
* Press 'c' to copy the current word and definitions to the clipboard for making flash cards.

Best addon ever. I have been using it for 10 years working in a Japanese company, on Firefox and Thunderbird (mail client), and more recently on Chrome. This literally saved my business life in Japan. Awesome! PS: No french in the Chrome version so I'll give only 4 stars :`(
its really help full for Japanese student like me..
Great plug-in, but have had to reinstall 3 times because I switched dictionaries somehow and couldn't get it working properly again. Beyond that it works near flawlessly.

This extension really helps me to learn Japanese better and faster.
The only downside is yourself getting too lazy to remember all the words rikaikun translate for you.
it's very usefull and comfortable.
