Extension to return old Twitter layout from 2015 (or 2018). WORKS IN 2026!
This extension doesn't add any CSS on top of original Twitter. It's fully different client that replaces original new Twitter client, making it faster than alternatives that just add style on top of Twitter. This extension requires you to be logged in to Twitter account.
Please visit https://twitter.com/old/settings after installing to make it work just as you like. It switches to chronological timeline by default, you can switch back to algorithmical timeline in settings.
You can visit unchanged Twitter by visiting https://twitter.com?newtwitter=true.
The code is open source! Check https://github.com/dimdenGD/OldTwitter to see the code and report any issues.

Very good. It's like traveling back in time, but website sometimes loads a bit slow and lag.
Works as expected
Justo hoy quiero abrir Twitter y la extensión no funciona. Aparece como si estuviera cargando la página y se queda en blanco para luego volver a cargar y sigue saliendo "x.com" en la pestaña. Nunca antes me había pasado.
It's currently not working for me, tweets on a new account I made last night aren't loading even with the extension enabled anymore. >"You're not following anyone so there's no tweets found! Change your timeline type to 'Algorithmical' in OldTwitter settings." >i am following 46 people.

if you're having trouble with the new update, uninstall, then migrate to x.com and install it again
