So i just read that the stores pay qantas fees for this which explains why my points are missing, possibly the stores are not declaring them to qantas. qantas help - phone and email are of absolutely no help, long long waits on the phone, put through to many many different departments before being hung up on. They ask for receipts showing how i paid - i used my qantas mastercard!! but that evidence is not good enough. i use the tracker which sole purpose is to track points, i use it religiously and yet points do not appear from certain retailers. I'm extremely disappointed.
Points never go through & when you email Qantas, you end up in a loop of "please attach this information" 4 times in a row, (which you do every time, it's like they dont read the email and are probably a bot) then end up giving up
Works 50% of the time. If that. I constantly have to contact Qantas and then they reject legitimate purchases when using this tracker. It should be seamless. It's just not.
It is missing points and following up missing points is annoying. This needs more work.
Does what it says on the box. You do have to remember to tap the box that pops up to start tracking (which I've forgotten a couple of times), but otherwise works well. It also shows in Google results which brands earn you points which is a good reminder
I am earning more points using the points tracker - I have been visiting sites that I wasn't aware had QFF points to earn & the tracker popped up to let me know, which was helpful. Now just to get a similar thing working from a mobile device - I make most ebay purchases on something other than a desktop.
Only about 1 in 5 purchases on Ebay actually get acknowledged by Qantas. I have lost thousands of points due to this. Trying to get your missing points is like getting blood out of a stone the process is so drawn out and then they deny you what should be given. It is all very hit and miss with Ebay purchases.
I would not bother you don't earn enough points with Qantas !!!
Love it with Covid19 I've been shopping online constantly earned so many points.
Love having the points tracker reminder only issue is that it frequently blocks the shopping carts on pages I visit and you can't move the window. A wee bug but I can usually get around it.
