This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.
Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.
Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

Has not been updated for years. Your mouse pointer never matches remote computer. Been like this since 2018. Tried many computers over the years. Google should just remove this app.
정말 쉽게 접속이 잘 됩니다. 기능도 잘 돌아가고요. 마이크로소프트에서 만든 윈도우 리모트접속 기능은 정말 욕나오게 접속 안되네요. 그냥 크롬 리모트 쓰면 너무 편합니다.
Worked fine until today. Now when I try to connect from my laptop to my desktop, I get the message "unable to authenticate due to a server error" I do not get this when connecting from desktop to laptop. Have already gone through the dance of uninstalling/reinstalling without success. Google's support forums have no answer. More accurately multiple people have posted questions about this error, and Google has not replied. One of the posts has even been locked from replies. How exactly do I get help with this issue if people who have had this issue before me have been ignored?
