This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.

Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.

Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

Ottimo servizio, consiglio di scaricare però l'app a parte. Chrome remote desktop è un'applicazione semplice, minimale e gratuita. La connessione a remoto è molto efficiente dato che la compressione si adatta automaticamente alla velocità della connessione, garantendo sempre una buona fluidità e una buona qualità video. La gammma RGB viene conservata molto di più rispetto che con altri servizi. Da migliorare il trasferimento file molto scomodo e non sarebbe male avere la possibilità di connettersi due volte allo stesso dispositivo per usare il doppio schermo.

Doesn't provide the same functionality on Chrome OS. From a Chromebook, I can see my listing of other devices to connect to. But, I can't add my Chromebook to my list of devices so other computers can access my Chromebook. The only way it works is to use the Remote Support share this screen one-time code. While this works, it doesn't provide the functionality like on Windows and the Mac. Really strange that Google has crippled Remote Desktop for their own OS. Please Google, fix this so it's usable on a Chromebook so I can access my Chromebook from anywhere just like I can with Windows and the Mac.
