This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.

Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.

Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

1. Раньше все работало ОК. 2. После первой обновы стало запускаться в режиме окна. Нафига этот идиотизм? 3. После второй обновы стал требовать код сразу. Причем этот код действует несколько минут. Это как? Везти из дома свой комп и вводить? Или лишний ноут тащить? 4. После 9го сентября вообще не работает. Пишет, что офф-лайн, хотя машина он-лайн. 5. Чтобы написать отзыв об этом шлаке я должен установить этот шлак. Т.е. я попользовался, удалил, хочу написать отзыв - и мне надо обратно установить??? Я буду разбираться в этом? Нет. спасибо. Сношу все в т.ч. браузер хром. Да и вообще все от гугл посношу и уйду в др. поисковик. Пусть баллы за просмотры рекламы другим капают.

Terrible replacement, worse in every possible way. Having to use it in a tab is extremely frustrating, VERY bad for working, confusing from a UI perspective using chrome within chrome (I keep hitting back on the main Chrome window instead of the remote window causing the session to end). Insanely laggy when video is playing, SECONDS of lag, no milliseconds, _SECONDS_. Breaks connection when using multiple accounts, only works with the last used account on the host computer. I tried to get used to this new version but I cant, by far the worst remote desktop Ive ever used.
