This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.
Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.
Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

They broke it and will NOT fix it! I have been using the stand alone version of this app or the app extension since the very beginning. Now, when I try to remote into a desktop I will get a grey or nearly black screen from the remote and THAT IS IT! APPARENTLY this is well known based on the number of hits I get when I Google it. Nothing seems to fix it. Currently I must use Google remote desktop into my SERVER then use MS Remote desktop from the server into the workstation. This is a major pain! Please fix this app.
fonctionnait très bien avant avec le logiciel, depuis la mise à jour le faisant fonctionner directement sur chrome c'est terminé .. décevant, je vais me rabattre sur un programme concurrent

Maybe the extension is not designed to control a mac from an iphone. When trying to control the mac from an iphone, taps on the iphone don't usually map to the same spot on the mac. No matter where I tap on the iphone, the mac acts like I'm clicking the same spot every time.
