This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.

Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.

Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

Doesnt work. I cant see my macbook screen on my iphone 8, but i cant click anything from my iphone 8, so whats the point?.... useless

THe new version actually works pretty well now, it was a bit rough the first month or so. I started using CRD after a long hiatus after Teamviewer finally flagged my work-related TV usage as, well, work-related. The nerve! ;-) Anyway I don't miss TV as much as I feared, CRT generally replaces it, at least for my use cases.

I have been using this for some time and it was great, however as of today it appears to no longer support viewing multiple monitors separately. If you are using a single monitor then it is amazing, hopefully the bring support back for multiple monitors.

Decent app, but recently I stopped seeing the option to choose which monitor of a dual-monitor setup to show. Windows 10 Pro remoting to Windows 10 Pro. Also, I liked the old non-browser version better.
