This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.
Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.
Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

Shockingly atrocious on all levels! Cannot use cursor, and is very poor UI, sloppy slow and bad graphics... Come on Google - sort it out? This substandard system is not doing Google any favors...
amazing app
For some reason I can no longer use Remote Desktop Connection to connect to my home computer. Hopefully I will figure out how to fix that sooner or later, In the meantime Chrome Remote Desktop is quite adequate for meeting my limited needs. I like RDC better when it works but for now I'm very glad I found this Chrome program.

Stopped working suddenly. Would not recommend.
Completely unreliable. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Often refuses to connect. Look for an alternative.

Does not work.
It is awful. It modified system files on my computer. It repeatedly froze my computer. It temporarily deleted all of my chrome data. NEVER USE. Use the command line tool instead (although I'm still skeptical of it). I would rate this 0 stars if possible. Some of the worst software I have ever had the misfortune of using.
