This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.
Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.
Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

Installed Chrome Remote Desktop for 50+ users when lock down started, so staff could work from home. Been a life saver (possibly literally). Users might need some basic training, or to read the instructions if they are not IT savvy, but it's mainly fit and forget. Even works with some software that fails when used with Microsoft Remote Desktop.
This app used to work just great. Then some months ago it was 'updated' and now it is crippled somehow. I can get access to the remote computer, but then it freezes, a note comes up to say the page has become 'unresponsive' and that is that. I reload the app and the same thing happens again. Useless...

У меня всё установилось, всё работает, проблема в другом. Как только я присоединяюсь с телефона, у меня на ноуте всплывает окно - "В настоящее время доступ к вашему рабочему..." с кнопкой "закрыть доступ". И это окно не исчезает, не убирается, я не нашёл никаких настроек к нему. В общем, в топку, узнавать в чём проблема, в такой простейшей схеме, у меня никакого желания нет, попробую другие программы.
한번 연결한 후 일정시간이 지나면 연결이 되지않아서 삭제했다가 다시 설치하면 또 되는데 또 시간지나면 연결이안됩니다. 이거 왜이러는지 아시는분있나요?
С телефона не могу подключится, пишет "Хост не подключен к сети". В расширении после удаления и добавления компьютера для удаленного доступа идет бесконечный запуск. На телефоне пишет, что хост был в сети 5 минут назад.
Alway automatically type a "c" while clicking mouse. One click, one "c". If you are writing code on the remoted computer with this, it will definitely make you creazy. Seem the developers have terminated supporting this product.
