Useless extension, does not authenticate.
Doesn't work - constantly asks for authentication.
It WAS great but now it won't authorise. I'm using the latest version of Chrome and it just goes to a blank page when I click to authorise. I de-authorised it, deleted chrome and the chrome cache files and it is still not working! I am stuck using the bookmarlklet unfortunately!!!

I've been using this for years now, but this could be an awesome extension if it performed more reliably. They fixed the bug that required authorizations regularly, but the right-click shortcut menu option has disappeared altogether. Also, I liked the previous dialog that quickly allowed the user to categorize, customize and notate the link before use, but the new one is malfunctioning; the category dropdown doesn't allow selection.
I just wanted a simple 'make this url shorter and copy it to the clipboard' extension. Instead, I was confronted with facebook login, registration, bitmark? nonsense and what have you. Bitly must understand that if an extension is not operational 5 seconds after installing, then forget it, on to the next.
It takes three or four clicks to get the abbreviated link in your clipboard. Thank you for wasting my time!!!

Use it every day when posting to Facebook and emails. Sometimes a little slow, and it doesn't always give urls for individual Facebook pages.
