With this extension you can easily search for text you have selected. When some text is selected you can left click the selected text to get a popup where you can choose a search engine to search with.
In the options page you can customize the look of the menu, which mouse button that should activate the menu, which search engines to show, and a lot of other things.

When you install this extension you will get a warning that this extension can:
"Access your data on all websites."
This is needed because the code for the popup-menu needs to be added to every website for it to work.

The round menu is the best feature

A very good extension to make custom search engines. Full of customizations. Great work. Been using it for two years before feeling compelled to write this.

does exactly what it says. no questions. and also incredible amount of customization as well
No instructions for adding search engines other than pressing ctrl and alt, which doesn't work for important sites like google. Mycroft project no longer works either. It's my favorite extension aside from this new and rather massive hole in functionality.
Brilliant! All is missing is a translate icon and a popup like in selectionsk
Sehr gut. Leider funktioniert dir "Enter" Taste nicht im Suchfeld; "Return" geht.
Excellent extension for Chrome - except I'm having troubles with it in Brave Browser. It only displays the first 9 entries - the 10th+ entries do not get displayed. Very frustrating with Brave, but wonderful in Chrome!
