This works perfectly well for me and blocks everything it should. A few minor things at the beginning (like configuring what to block on an intranet page) are easily and quickly resolved using the options, and then you can surf pages that are wonderfully free of flashing ads and pop-ups. I can't say I noticed a slower performance of my notebook, and while it's only a year old, it's certainly not a fancy notebook. Basically, try it. For me, it works wonders.
It blocks flash ads on websites but not the ads from videos. It's advertised everywhere that it does, but apparently not for me.
Outstanding. I, too, came to Chrome from Firefox and it was my first add-on. BTW, I don't see any sign of the CPU usage problem mentioned elsewhere. This extension works exactly as advertised.
No option to "pause" function 22-5-2013 colapse with google analytics

It's only when I see browsers without adblock that I realize how much eyeclutter adblock reliably removes. AdBlock = iSaver ;) amazing!
Java problems under Firefox led me to switch to Chrome recently and I was shocked by all of the advertisements on my favorite web pages that I'd never seen before (because I was using the "Adblock Plus" extension for Firefox). Michael and AdBlock for Chrome really saved the day and my browsing experience is once again ad-free. The rare page elements that are displayed with ads are easily eliminated with excellent context menu controls. This is a must-have extension!
The first extension I install on chrome.
I definitely recommend Adblock. It makes your web experience so much more enjoyable - you don't have to see any of those annoying ads anymore.
