This extension will make ChatGPT your default search engine in Chrome. Once ChatGPT has been set as your default search engine, you can search directly via your browser URL bar.
ChatGPT You can get fast, timely answers with links to relevant web sources, which you would have previously needed to go to a search engine for. This blends the benefits of a natural language interface with the value of up-to-date sports scores, news, stock quotes, and more. Chats also now include links to sources, such as news articles and blog posts, giving you a way to learn more.
In order to redirect a query to Google search, type "!g [your query]" (e.g. !g foobar) directly in your browser URL bar.

Use TopTab Search as a default search engine
not usable . Manageable switch between google search n ChatGPT search or just iv-o or even o-i
Pretty good, but too general sometimes and I want to be closer to the sources, since most of my work is around market research. GOAT AI Summarizer currently works for me the best.
Essentially, the idea of setting it as a search engine is nice. It would be great to have an option, perhaps as a line in suggested actions, to search something using ChatGPT instead of whatever engine someone might have set as default. But, sadly, at the moment this extension just redirects user to chatgpt.com upon sending a request into search bar (potentially saving 2 clicks at most), along with practically replacing your starting page with something rudimentary, which appears to be a set of shortcuts to recently visited websites. Looking forward to the updates.
meh
BRUH XD I thought it (at least) would've shown me results like bing, it just take u to the website and search, I search 10s and 100s of times per day so the quota of 10 questions won't work for me XD Which also means that you can't anything that is "against openai's terms and shi" Wanna watch some hot stuff? nuh uh Piracy? nuh uh How to kll a man for fun? nuh uh A$$ EXTENSION

It just not working, it doesn't replace Google search engine
I know where this is heading! tryna replacing Google. But come on be fair. If it's gonna cost me for me to search? why should i? when i can search for free on google.
The extension is useful for quick access to ChatGPT, but it lacks certain features and can be a bit laggy at times. The interface could use some improvements, and I expected better integration with other tools. It's okay, but not as polished as it could be.
