What's New in 3.0:
==================
* Updated to Manifest V3.
Before Chrome 52, the backspace key navigated back (if you weren't writing text). Many people lost their progress while working online by accidentally pressing backspace and leaving a page -- so we removed the feature from Chrome, and created this extension for those who prefer the old behavior.
This extension can't restore backspace on certain special pages, for example any of the "chrome://" pages such as Settings or Extensions.

Why the hell did you remove the back button anyway? Why press two buttons when I can do it with one??? Extension works well tho.
I hate that I need an extension to do this. This is madness. With that said, this extension is a good implementation of a fix for an idiotic situation. I'm grateful that I don't need to grant a 3rd party permission to inject code into all the websites I visit.
thumbs up google. for making this right again. But i still don't understand why this feature was removed in the first place?? very annoying, why does google think they know best???
I'd never think I'd have time to give an extension one star. You guys, at least should've make this optional and disable it by default.
This should have been a browser config setting. I hope you're collecting metrics on how much frustrated backspace-hammering is going on. I regularly browse (research) with one hand one the mouse, and the other hovering over the backspace key. It's a subconscious action after so many years.
Сдохните"! НЕ РАБОТАЕТ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gente idiota valora mal la extensión porque están enojados con Chrome en vez de darse cuenta que la extensión es muy buena y ayuda a solucionar el problema
Исправили? Шустрее начала работать.
やっとモヤモヤが晴れました。
Extension is fine, but the fact that I have to install an extension on every single machine I use just to have something behave the way it ought to is ridiculous. Are your users so stupid that they can't learn not to hit backspace if they don't intend to go back? I can count on one hand the number of times I've lost data from doing this, and I blame myself, not the browser. Please fix this ASAP.
