Version 1.2.0 adds dark mode support.
Version 1.3.0's only change is to use manifest_version 3. For this extension, this does not affect behavior at all. The change is required to keep the extension listed in Chrome Web Store.

I was searching for it (to speed up the rendering of an new tab), I've found it, installed it and it works :-)
I like this extension. Just serving the purpose and no other things, simple and nice.
I was going to make this, but found it already existed. Grateful it isn’t full of dumb tracking scripts.

Works just as advertised. Love it and would have given it 5 stars but for one thing. Every time I open up my Extensions menu, the icon for this extension re-appears in my toolbar. I then have to click on the context menu to remove it. But this is well worth the small hassle. Thanks for making this extension.
Неплохо, но есть проблема: если на странице есть фреймы, то они при загрузке мигают (фрейм загрузился, очистился белым, пауза, снова показался), поэтому пришлось отключить..
Used it for a while and was quite happy until I set Solarized as my system theme, then white startpage started to jump out. Will be happy to set it to 5* when there's a setting for empty page color.
i need the same but with the color (or background image) management, any ideas?
