High Contrast lets you browse the web with your choice of several high-contrast color filters designed to make it easier to read text.
When you install this extension, all pages are "inverted", so black becomes white and white becomes black. Press the "browser action" icon in the toolbar to toggle it on and off, or customize your settings on a per-site basis. Use a convenient keyboard shortcut to quickly change your settings while your browse.
Other extensions try to change the default colors, but this ends up breaking many popular websites. Only this extension applies filters to your page that invert almost everything - the only exception is photos, which are left alone.
Also note that the Chrome web store and other built-in pages like the New Tab page and Settings pages are unaffected - extensions like this one are not allowed to modify them, by design.

A great number of websites seem to use text in various shades of gray. I find them difficult to read. This extension is just what I was looking for. It offers five options for increasing contrast. Excellent!
I have loved this extension so much, but today it started giving me problems. I use a program that uses pop-out windows. Up until today, the filter would always remain applied to all pop-out windows but today it's not. The pop-out boxes will load without the filter and only after refreshing the window will it go back to the negative filter I keep it on. Can someone please tell me how to contact this extension's support to ask how to fix this? I'm very frustrated. Without this filter, the program I work in is all white and gives me migraines. Help!
I rely on this extension for work. The available options are great, I use the inverted color option. As of today June 7, 2018, the inverted color no longer is automatically applied, instead I have to refresh the page to make the colors invert. This happens across sites so I think it has something to do with the extension.
It'll make everything it promises! I would give 5 aout of 5 if it weren't because i can't see the text on boxes like the ones on twitter and disqus! it only shows up when i disable it, what a pity.

Images are looking bad and all pages have high contrast by default. (I cannot define only one page with high contrast)
Funciona perfeitamente pra assistir vídeos em que o cenário está escura. O único defeito é que, ele deixa o vídeo lento, quase impossível de se assistir.
