High Contrast lets you browse the web with your choice of several high-contrast color filters designed to make it easier to read text.
When you install this extension, all pages are "inverted", so black becomes white and white becomes black. Press the "browser action" icon in the toolbar to toggle it on and off, or customize your settings on a per-site basis. Use a convenient keyboard shortcut to quickly change your settings while your browse.
Other extensions try to change the default colors, but this ends up breaking many popular websites. Only this extension applies filters to your page that invert almost everything - the only exception is photos, which are left alone.
Also note that the Chrome web store and other built-in pages like the New Tab page and Settings pages are unaffected - extensions like this one are not allowed to modify them, by design.

what i was looking for , the inverted setting was odd for me so i went with increased contrast and coupled this with the black black with yellow theme , now my performance is much boosted
made me want to delete all things google avoid avoid avoid
Mediocre at best. Often does not appear enabled in new screens; have to disable in other window and re-enable in new window. Blurs a lot of text. The limited options (ie. yellow and black, but not red on black, which is better on eyes), are not a particular draw... it's...okay..

Unfortunately on Windows text is horrifically blurred when this extension is enabled, making it even harder to read.

Pomysl dobry, ale na razie jeszcze niedopracowany. Takie przelaczanie np. funkcji z kontrastem przyslania (zakrywa) ikone powiadomienia, przycisk "+1" na stronach w Google+ - ( nie widac ikonky z liczba nowych wiadomosci) wylaczenie appki ponownie ukazuje nam ikone z powiadomienie o nowej widomosci z portalu ;) Pozdrawiam.
A really amazing concept for older people that have a hard time reading. I haven't used it much but when I did I liked it.
