High Contrast lets you browse the web with your choice of several high-contrast color filters designed to make it easier to read text.
When you install this extension, all pages are "inverted", so black becomes white and white becomes black. Press the "browser action" icon in the toolbar to toggle it on and off, or customize your settings on a per-site basis. Use a convenient keyboard shortcut to quickly change your settings while your browse.
Other extensions try to change the default colors, but this ends up breaking many popular websites. Only this extension applies filters to your page that invert almost everything - the only exception is photos, which are left alone.
Also note that the Chrome web store and other built-in pages like the New Tab page and Settings pages are unaffected - extensions like this one are not allowed to modify them, by design.

Installed it but it had zero visible impact, on or off, with any of the options. Really wanted this to work, but... it doesn't. Chrome 50.0.2661.102 m on Windows 7.
I can't get rid of it!
The color contrast between items which separate "sections of a selection bar/window" (specifically the OVERVIEW, REVIEWS, RELATED tabs, and HELPFUL, RECENT boxes) could be more visible. Also, text itself could be darker (i.e., more contrast). Also, the scroll bars could be better slightly wider (...manuevering the mouse to "exactly" the right point sometimes seems more challenging than the old MS Windows Office scroll bars. Everything in recent Windows 10 is horrible. I prefer the Office 2007 styles/appearance. I've tried all the Win 10 "accessibility" options and hate them all. It's no wonder people are leaving MS for Apple... but that isn't google's concern (although if affects Chromes appearance.
It's good and all, but you need to turn it off to view pictures which defeats the purpose for me

Mu y útil para los problemas de retina, sobre todo para los que no aguantamos los colores claros y la luz. Estoy a punto de darle un cinco, cada día lo hacen mejor.
Apesar de não aplicar o alto contraste nas páginas de configuração e na Chrome Web Store, a extensão funciona muito bem, além de possuir outras opções além do contraste típico.
