Whenever you find yourself with too many tabs, click the OneTab icon to convert all of your tabs into a list. When you need to access the tabs again, you can either restore them individually or all at once.
When your tabs are in the OneTab list, you will save up to 95% of memory because you will have reduced the number of tabs open in your web browser.
Privacy assurance
OneTab is designed for privacy. Your tab URLs are never transmitted or disclosed to either the OneTab developers or any other party, and icons for tab URL domains are generated by Google. The only exception to this is if you intentionally click on our 'share as a web page' feature that allows you to upload your list of tabs into a web page in order to share them with others. Tabs are never shared unless you specifically use the 'share as a web page' feature.
Additional Benefits
Storing tabs in OneTab can also speed up your computer by reducing the CPU load and memory (RAM) usage of your browser. Even a high-end computer can become sluggish when many browser windows are open, because each open browser window may constantly consume resources.

OneTab has worked dependably and reliably for me for years. There are several functionalities i would like to see added. Number one on this list would be the ability to reopen a saved tab from OneTab and have that tab's history be reloaded as well, so I could then click on the back arrow or forwards arrow like I could before I saved that tab to OneTab. This feature alone would have me rating OneTab five stars. :-)
One of most reliable and long-supported extensions there is!
Very useful!! It does what it says. HOWEVER: after about 3 years of use, it became extremely BLOATED. Reason: for each link it generates a "favicon" kept in the HTML "files". These small images make it easier to identify the origin of every bookmark, but when you accumulate over 6.000 of them, the browser slows to a crawl until it no longer responds. And if you try to back up the html file, it also stores those pesky favicons. My solution was to save the HTML, then to delete those favicons from the "files" folder, then to remove the extension and re-install it in order to have a clean slate. The saved HTML still opens, it looks less "sexy" without those favicons, but at least the links are preserved.
Hello, I wanted to provide some feedback on how much I've enjoyed using your product over the past 5 years. I find it very useful overall. I did have one suggestion that could potentially improve the user experience. Currently, there is no option to create a custom column and drag tabs into it. Being able to customize the layout in that way would be really helpful for my workflow. If this feature could be considered for a future update, I think it would add even more value to an already great product. Please let me know if this is something that may be feasible to implement. I'm happy to provide any other details that could help with assessing the value of this proposed feature enhancement. Thanks!
I just reinstalled and I lost more than 7000 tabs, please add sync with drive or something :)

This extension pretty much saved my Chromebook experience! I was close to throwing in the towel after experiencing severe lag after a few weeks of using the Chromebook. Admittedly I do power use my Chrome tabs, often having 40+ open at at time, many of which are complex spreadsheets. I tried everything I could think of to tune up my book and reduce lag, when I luckily stumbled upon this extension. For whatever reason, whenever my book is slowing down, I throw all my tabs into OneTab and problem solved! I'm a good two months into using it regularly, and no more issues with lag.
