Whenever you find yourself with too many tabs, click the OneTab icon to convert all of your tabs into a list. When you need to access the tabs again, you can either restore them individually or all at once.
When your tabs are in the OneTab list, you will save up to 95% of memory because you will have reduced the number of tabs open in your web browser.
Privacy assurance
OneTab is designed for privacy. Your tab URLs are never transmitted or disclosed to either the OneTab developers or any other party, and icons for tab URL domains are generated by Google. The only exception to this is if you intentionally click on our 'share as a web page' feature that allows you to upload your list of tabs into a web page in order to share them with others. Tabs are never shared unless you specifically use the 'share as a web page' feature.
Additional Benefits
Storing tabs in OneTab can also speed up your computer by reducing the CPU load and memory (RAM) usage of your browser. Even a high-end computer can become sluggish when many browser windows are open, because each open browser window may constantly consume resources.

OneTab has been a Godsend for me...but ever since the extremely-troubled "update" that was supposed to support Tab Groups - it's broken. Clicking the funnel icon - nothing. Found a workaround (which makes me extremely nervous.) Extensions > Manage Extensions > One Tab > Allow Access to File URLs. I must un-check/re-check the box. That box - never needed to be checked in previous versions. I'm sorry - but I don't want OneTab to be able to access files on my computer. You don't need to. Extreme security vulnerability. Please explain why it only works with that box checked... It's not only annoying, but dangerous to click that every day.
A good friend installed it for me. I use it all the time. It is so convenient. BUT I have aproblem: everytime I update Chrome, the icon disappears and I loose the data, and I have to reinstall it. Has any of you the same problem?
Used this for years and began to rely on it. A few days ago it prompted me to repair out of the blue and now i lost close to 4k tabs. support is unable to help. please look elsewhere if you want something with sync
Worked with several tab managers over the years. This is very well designed but takes a bit getting used to. Love locking that can act as a bookmark AND easy to restore. Supports tab pinning. Sharing can also be useful to effectively bookmark. PLEASE don't abandoned this project. So many great free projects stop working. Perhaps add a lightning tip button for when i feel happy and have some sats to send :)

Una total desgracia de extensión, perdí el trabajo de 40hrs al borrarme todas mis listas luego de darle guardar una ventana con 50 pestañas, ahora el onetab no tiene menú y su ventana aparece en blanco con un error y sin mis listas guardadas. El único mensaje de error que arroja es: "OneTab restart required. Please quit and restart Chrome" He reiniciado más de 20 veces y sigue el error, me comuniqué con soporte pero como siempre no responden. Definitivamente nunca más utilizaré esta extensión y haré que todos mis contactos lo desinstalen y utilicen formas manuales de guardar sus referencias, pues de nada sirve confiar en una extensión que te puede arruinar el trabajo de días por algo tan simple que es hacer copy-paste
OneTab has worked dependably and reliably for me for years. There are several functionalities i would like to see added. Number one on this list would be the ability to reopen a saved tab from OneTab and have that tab's history be reloaded as well, so I could then click on the back arrow or forwards arrow like I could before I saved that tab to OneTab. This feature alone would have me rating OneTab five stars. :-)
