Whenever you find yourself with too many tabs, click the OneTab icon to convert all of your tabs into a list. When you need to access the tabs again, you can either restore them individually or all at once.
When your tabs are in the OneTab list, you will save up to 95% of memory because you will have reduced the number of tabs open in your web browser.
Privacy assurance
OneTab is designed for privacy. Your tab URLs are never transmitted or disclosed to either the OneTab developers or any other party, and icons for tab URL domains are generated by Google. The only exception to this is if you intentionally click on our 'share as a web page' feature that allows you to upload your list of tabs into a web page in order to share them with others. Tabs are never shared unless you specifically use the 'share as a web page' feature.
Additional Benefits
Storing tabs in OneTab can also speed up your computer by reducing the CPU load and memory (RAM) usage of your browser. Even a high-end computer can become sluggish when many browser windows are open, because each open browser window may constantly consume resources.

Breaks normal tab functionality. I have Chrome set to restore previous session. Say I have the following tabs open: OneTab, tab1, tab2, tab3, tab4 And I close tab3 and tab4 so I have: OneTab, tab1, tab2 When I close Chrome and open it again I get: OneTab, tab1, tab2, tab3, tab4, maybe even tab 5, and tab6. I want to open Chrome and start where I left off. NOT have my tabs messed with by OneTab.
No issue thus far that so many others have who lose tabs and I don't like mine that change every day of full-time work online. But my chief pet beef with this app is no way to delete or move SEVERAL tabs at one time by a standard Ctrl+ click to select all slots between any 2 spots on a list. Second big PITA is long drop-down menus that block my whole visual field and waste time as I try to navigate thru at least 4 that open in various places to save one tab in a named group. Too many clicks on tiny arrow icons that overlap creates high risk of critical mistakes I can't afford. A multi-level bulleted list is much better for such interfaces. It should have main headings that collapse on first click but users can expand to fit their space and specific needs. Thanks to everyone for warning me of disaster awaiting happenstance. I just exported my 37 tabs to Excel on first glance at your messages.
Great until you lose all your saved tabs with no way to recover them. Look elsewhere for bookmark management.
This is a very useful extension, loved it since the first time i tried it. Great concept of freeing-up memory for inactive tabs. Highly recommend this extension. (Thank you developers).
Well, er... not really good at this sort of thing but; after reading mostly negative reviews... I just had to give 1Tab a "thumbs-up" here. First, considering I maybe don't have as many miles on 1-Tab as some, I haven't experienced problems... yet, that is. It has been helpful for me, thank you.
The worse. I Lost twice all my data. Deleting it right now
my favorite extension! I have ADHD with a side of persistent curiosity; this makes for, to put it nicely, a WELL-TABBED browser session ;) OneTab has allowed me to really efficiently and effectively manage all the tabs I generate and quickly collect them in an effortless log of my internet adventures. All that while reducing my memory footprint, makes this the only tab manager able to keep pace with this thought-engine I call a brain. Feature request: Would be nice to have a function to clear/delete all tab groups, or -better yet- select multiple tab groups at a time, for deleting/sharing/exporting/etc. Finally, Thanks to the developers! All the hearts. :)
