Whenever you find yourself with too many tabs, click the OneTab icon to convert all of your tabs into a list. When you need to access the tabs again, you can either restore them individually or all at once.
When your tabs are in the OneTab list, you will save up to 95% of memory because you will have reduced the number of tabs open in your web browser.
Privacy assurance
OneTab is designed for privacy. Your tab URLs are never transmitted or disclosed to either the OneTab developers or any other party, and icons for tab URL domains are generated by Google. The only exception to this is if you intentionally click on our 'share as a web page' feature that allows you to upload your list of tabs into a web page in order to share them with others. Tabs are never shared unless you specifically use the 'share as a web page' feature.
Additional Benefits
Storing tabs in OneTab can also speed up your computer by reducing the CPU load and memory (RAM) usage of your browser. Even a high-end computer can become sluggish when many browser windows are open, because each open browser window may constantly consume resources.

Same as Toby, but not on the new tab. Organize your browser tabs and access them quickly anywhere.
This is such a useful extension! I am the type of person that usually runs a million tabs on their computer, so having something that quickly and easily offloads all of them at once makes it much easier to save those tabs and free up resources on my computer. The only suggestion I have is to make it an option to show the right click menu right when one clicks on the OneTab icon instead of sending all the tabs right away as default. Overall, it is highly recommended for tab hoarders!
I've used this extension for years and I really love it, but I am dying for a dark mode. Please implement one.
What its really missing is the option to change default behaviour of clicking the icon. default - all to onetab request for - current to onetab (is 3 menus deep..)
It does what I wanted it to. Let's me dump a bunch of story tabs I open up during a long search for interesting reads and want to read at a later date. My one issue is the lack of ability to change what happens when the extension icon is clicked. I would MUCH rather have it so when I click on the icon it only sends the tab I'm on into the OneTab folder instead of all of them. That *needs* to be a setting people can change for tab heavy users like myself.
Love this extension! Probably the one I use the most by far!
I have used Onetab for a while now and it has been OK. Can only give it average marks because it doesn't have necessary features such as groups (so I don't have to scroll for so long) (groups within names). But the one thing that caused me a lot of trouble was resetting my Windows 10 and losing years worth of URLs. It felt like dying. I had saved years worth of special URLs that I was saving for when I get to a better place in life and they were all lost when I did the reset. I went away for a while and came back to my computer and was rusty on how it worked. OneTab backup just wasn't there for me; so this is how I lost it. With groups I might want to name a list under the topic "Life" and by this name I would like to add many different life URL topics. Many people are calling a list a group but I can't actually add different topics to a list. When I make a list I wish it could be a group "heading" so I could start building off that. Example - Life - Life in Hollywood - URLs go here - Life at home - URLs go here The way Onetab is right now is causing me to "Loose" many URLs I am saving because of the sheer amount I have in the list (because I can't make groups). I mean, I can't remember random headings that I make? I am more able to remember real life topics, and therefore find my content properly. This is mainly why I gave it one star because when you really use it, you'll find that it isn't helping you because you're losing the URLs again (just in a different way). Very confusing, but when you don't add these small elements to a project it becomes so much more complicated. Another thing, for example, I just created a new bunch of IG URLs I want to save. Now, I don't want these to be at the top overriding my important URLs, but when I star it, this new lot (IG URLs) goes to the top. This creates so much more work, I then have to go to my favourite Starred URLs and "Un-Star" them to star them again so they go to the top. But when I Un-star them to do this, they first go all the way down to the bottom and this could be miles away down the page and very stressful and hard to use. Then once I have found that bunch again, I can star it again! There are so many small things that could have been done by now, I just don't know what's taking so long? UPDATE - Even While Exporting (Copy & pasting only, no download), it does not transfer the names!!! As you export by copying and pasting, when somebody uploads it into Google Sheets, it leaves a space where the name of the group was?! This is so pain stacking to fix!!!!!
Stopped working
My most favourite extension. Very easy to use - simple to save and organise all the tabs. Thank you! God bless you!
great solution
It's the time to have a dark mode option!
