It's always been a hassle to use video for my business with email. SendSpark makes this REALLY easy to do! With a Chrome extension to record your videos or just logging into your account, you can create videos. The best feature about SendSpark is that I can easily change the call to action to my videos. With other software, you have to re-record the video all over again. This has been a game changer for my business as my clients are loving the personalization and the connection of our video emails.

First, it MUST be easy to use (I teach young and old students with varying technical skills). Another app I tried failed dismally here. Sendspark is much more inviting, and easier to use. It’s also very easy and flexible to set up my own branding (the other app featured their logo in several places…) I want to quickly record on-screen tutorials to show students how to use their software. The Chrome extension does this easily. It’s hard for students of all ages to start a new piece. In your lesson your teacher is sitting beside you, and can show you slowly and carefully how to play it. Then you get home, and you say “Oh No! I can’t remember how these notes are meant to sound!”, and you can get disheartened. I like to record a video of new piano pieces, so that students can not only hear the new piece (and keep a recording of it), but also see where to put their fingers on the piano — very useful for beginners, and very encouraging! Sendspark makes this simple. I then like for students to be able to respond, either with comments, or with a video of their own performance (it’s wonderful to see students enjoying playing new pieces!). Sendspark allows students to do this without having to download or master any software. Fabulous! Things I’m looking forward to (they’re on the roadmap): (1) CNAME for my own URL; and (2) the ability to vary playback speed. This would be a KILLER feature for music teachers, as it would allow students to slow down a video of a song to listen closely and learn more easily. Things I’d like: the ability to make video business cards and video bubbles (like Warm Welcome), and video email signatures (like NewOldStamp, but with video!). One thing I would really like would be an iOS/Android app to allow me to more easily use a phone to record quick piano performances for students. I believe Sendspark is going to allow me to help students in new ways that I haven’t even considered yet. Brilliant!
